What happens during a hypnotherapy session?

Initial Consultation ๐Ÿค: The session begins with a friendly chat to establish rapport and discuss your goals, concerns, and expectations.

  • Preparation ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธ: You may sit or recline in a comfortable chair or on a couch to help you relax.

  • Relaxation ๐Ÿ˜Œ: I will guide you through relaxation techniques, such as deep breathing, to help calm your mind and body.

  • Induction ๐ŸŒ€: I use a soothing voice and imagery to induce a state of heightened focus and suggestibility. This is often referred to as the hypnotic induction.

  • Deepening ๐ŸŒŒ: You'll be led deeper into a state of relaxation, which can be compared to drifting into a daydream or a meditative state. ๐ŸŒŸ

  • Suggestion๐Ÿงšโ€โ™‚๏ธ: I will provide positive suggestions related to your goals. These suggestions can address issues like anxiety, weight loss, or stress management.

  • Exploration ๐Ÿ”: You may explore your thoughts, emotions, and memories within the hypnotic state. This can help uncover and address underlying issues.

  • Problem-Solving ๐Ÿง : Together with the myself, you'll work on problem-solving and coping strategies. This can be helpful for addressing specific issues like phobias or anxiety.

  • Reprogramming๐Ÿ’ก: I will assist in reprogramming negative thought patterns or behavioursโ€™ to reinforce positive change. ๐Ÿ”„

  • Reawakening ๐ŸŒ…: The session concludes with a gradual reawakening, making you feel refreshed and alert.

  • Debriefing and Discussion ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ: We will discuss your experience, any insights gained, and strategies to apply outside of the session.

  • Follow-Up ๐Ÿ“…: Depending on your goals, you may schedule follow-up sessions to track progress and make further adjustments. On average you will need 3 to 6 sessions.

Remember that the hypnotic state is a natural state of focused attention and heightened suggestibility, and you're always aware of what's happening. Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process, and I act as a guide to help you access your inner resources for positive change. ๐Ÿ˜Š
